't Glop

Holleman created a plan to upgrade the public spaces in the tourist hotspot, Zaanse Schans. The aim was to cater to the hundreds of thousands of tourists who visit the area each year while preserving the character of the typical, historic neighbourhood. As part of the upgrade, a small, historic garden was designed on the 'Glop', an open area located along the river Zaan.

The garden's design was in keeping with the historical character of the area, and it serves as an attractive and peaceful spot for visitors to rest and enjoy the picturesque scenery. Holleman's plan for upgrading the public spaces was successful in making the area more accessible and enjoyable for tourists while maintaining the integrity and charm of the historic neighbourhood.
